The SHIM, OAUTHC must receive completed application forms no later than Tuesday, August 23, 2022. All applicants will have a post-JAMB examination/oral interview on Wednesday, August 24th and Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the school grounds.

Newgate College of Health Technology Admission Requirements
PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING
- Nigerian Registered Nurse (NRN).
- National Diploma or its equivalent in Nursing.
- Holders of the above must possess the basic O’level credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN
- Minimum of 5 WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO passes in not more than two sittings. English Language, Biology or Health Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, and any other course must receive three (3) credit passes.
COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER (CHEW)
- Five (5) Credit level WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO O’level passes in no more than two (2) sittings. English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Health Science are required. Candidates who hold a JCHEW certificate also have an edge.
JUNIOR COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER (JCHEW)
- Three (3) credits and two (2) passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, and any other two courses at WASSC or NECO in not more than two sittings.
DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
- Five credits in O’level at the SSCE/WASSC or equivalent in not more than two sittings. English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Physics or Chemistry, and any other subject are required.
MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
- Requires WASSC/SSCE/GCE/NECO – Four-credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, with a minimum of a pass in Physics. (The Registration Board will reject results that are more than 10 years old as of the date of this registration.)
Medical Laboratory Owners With the aforementioned O’level, an assistant certificate is required.
