The Kebbi State College of Health Science and Technology, Jega, therefore invites properly eligible individuals to apply for admission to the different programs for the academic year 2022/2023.
The school’s program offerings and entrance criteria are stated below; please review the requirements before purchasing the form.
This is to inform you that the current sales of application forms for 2022/2023 admission will end on May 8, 2022, at 12:00 a.m., and the admission portal will be closed on the same day.
The interview and screening process will begin on May 9th, 2022. The schedule and date of the interview/screening will be communicated to prospective applicants via text messages (SMS).

- Environmental Health Technologist (EHT) – HND
- Environmental Health Officer (EHO) – Diploma
- Environmental Health Technician (EVT) – Diploma
- Health Education & Promotion (HEP) – Diploma
- Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW) – Certificate
- Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) – Diploma
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Diploma
- Medical Laboratory Assistance (MLA) – Certificate
- Health Information Management (HIM) – Diploma
- Pharmacy Technician (PT) – Diploma
Admission Requirements for KSSHT
- HND – Candidates must have five (5) “O” Level credits in SSCE (NECO or WASC) in subjects such as Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, as well as a Diploma in Environmental Health.
- DIPLOMA (CHEW, EHO, MLT, & PT) – Candidates must have five (5) SSCE “O” Level credits (NECO or WASC). Math, English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry are among them.
- CHEW, HIM, and EHO may substitute Health Science for Biology.
- HIM – Four (4) credits in engineering, mathematics, biology/health science, chemistry, or physics
- HEP – Four (4) credits (GCE/SSCE/NECO OR GRADE II), which can be Engineering, Math, Biology, or any other subject.
- EVT – Four (4) credits in engineering, mathematics, biology/health science, and either credit in geography, physics, chemistry, or agriculture science with a pass in any other subject.
COURSES FOR CERTIFICATION
- MLA – Three (3) Credits in Biology, English, and Chemistry, plus any other Science Subject Passes.
- JCHEW – Three (3) credits in Math, English, and Biology/Health.
Two (2) passes in science subjects are required.
