Most candidates who were involved in repeated registration during the registration procedure of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, had their results withheld by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, following the publication of the 2022 UTME Results.
The board has issued a notice to candidates whose results have been withheld due to duplicate registration with instructions and processes to follow in order to get their results released. The following is an extract from the message:
‘Result withheld pending upload of needed clarifications/documents.’
As a result, all candidates in the aforesaid category have been directed to go on to the JAMB Portal and upload the relevant papers in order to have their results issued.

Dear Candidate, Your application has been denied owing to several registrations that appear to be matched by face or fingerprint. As a result, you must upload the following documents:
- Certificate of Birth
- Your WAEC or NECO score
- Please mention the examination number if you do not have your WAEC/NECO certificate.
- Look-alike information is required. Fill in the same information for your lookalike or anybody else who may have used any of your fingers to register.

How to Upload Your Look Alike Information for JAMB Multiple Registration
- Go to https://jamb.gov.ng/Efacility to access the JAMB e-Facility Portal.
- Fill up your email address and password.
- To proceed, click the Login Button.
- Select 2022 Registration Link Only from the drop-down box that appears.
- Select the Link Look-Alike Information button and click it.
Complete the following steps on your JAMB Look Alike Information Dashboard.
- Please provide your birth certificate.
- Your WAEC/GCE/NECO certificate should be uploaded (if Available)
- Enter the number of your WAEC/GCE/NECO examination (Mandatory)
- Choose a state where physical inspections are permitted.
You can submit other important supporting papers here, such as your driver’s license, national identification card, voter’s card, and so on.
- When you’re finished, click the Submit button.
Kindly note that each document uploaded should not exceed 300KB.
